A Close Call with Normal

Normal
Most mornings
I rise with the sun
Or the sounds of my love,
Or the howls of our old cat.
Yesterday we visited
An opportunity for career expansion
Everything in place
Shiny and clean.
Last night I felt the pull of success
Marketing and advertising
Mortgage payments
Insurance billing
Cash flow.
I could be normal
Sell “Healing Packages”
Inflate my credentials
Sell my secret source of hope
Increase revenue streams
Actualize abundance.
A gentle breeze
Under the oak tree this morning
The dirt still fresh in the garden I turned yesterday
I remember.
Sipping coffee and tea
We sink again into each other
Gazing at the pond
Listening to the snores
Of our old cats.

Exactly my sentiments – I wonder why? Methinks there is cosmic connection of finely spun silver that binds you, me, and the fair christina all together. Thank you for sharing a dimension of yourself that I was not aware existed. You never fail to astonish.
