BACKGROUND
I have been teaching alternative medicine for over 20 years. As a Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist, I have been integrating the theory of Chinese Medicine with modern hands-on healing techniques. After years of weaving the two together, I wrote and published "Meridian Massage, Opening Pathways to Healing."
VISION
Healing is natural. Anyone with an interest and a dose of curiosity can learn how to access the healing potential of Qi (energy) in order to benefit themselves and others.
Meridian Massage is my way of connecting with Qi. It is my deepest pleasure to teach this work.
I collaborated with a medical illustrator to produce an Acupressure and Meridian Chart that met my standards of clarity, precision, and user ease.
This wall chart clearly shows the 108 acupressure points covered in my book, Meridian Massage Opening Pathways to Vitality.

Depending on your state and local regulations, a license may be required to practice any type of massage as a business. Click here for more details.
Of course, no license is needed to use the techniques of Meridian Massage as a self-care practice.

This is always a challenging question to answer because the real answer is "it depends."
Bring gentle contact and movement to each point for as long as it feels "right" to you and your client. It depends on your client at that particular moment. Trust the skill you already have in contacting the body - and then modify it along the way by asking your client about their experience: "Is the contact still feeling helpful? Is it deep enough or too light? Is there too much motion or not enough?" This type of communication with your client is extremely important.
With practice, you will be able to synchronize your contact, pressure, and the amount of time with ease for each person you work with.
