Food Stagnation

This is the Chinese Medical term for: “I ate too much and now I can’t move.” Really. Do you know that feeling when what you ate an hour ago is still sitting there, heavy in your stomach? That is food stagnation.
The resolution is fairly simple.  Here are my favorite remedies:

    1. Curing Pills – this is a simple and powerfully effective herbal formula. I never leave home without it! Effective for food stagnation as well as preventing ailments that might arise from eating food that just didn’t feel right after eating it. Follow this link to my favorite brand: Curing Pills
    2. Meridian Massage – massage the Stomach meridian on the leg, and then focus on ST 36. Next, combine ST 36 with ST 25.  After attending to the stomach meridian and points, apply gentle massage to the abdomen. I have relieved many cases of food stagnation for family and friends with this very simple massage.

ST 36 is located just outside (lateral) of the upper shin bone (tibia).

I also experience heavy stomach after eating most of the times. I didn’t know you can actually cure it through massage. Happy to know this information, now at least I know I’ll just have to massage those certain areas to cure food stagnation.

Glad to be able to offer you some ideas Margaret! Massaging your abdomen even when you don’t feel symptoms is a great to improve your digestion and prevent food stagnation. Enjoy 🙂
