Go with your glow

 glowEmbrace your radiance!

Somewhere within each of us is a spark or “inner light,” that creates an ever-present “glow.” It is the “thing” that we turn to within ourselves when all hope is seemingly lost, at the peak of frustration, in the pit of aloneness. There it is, igniting the next breath, the next heart beat, the next moment of possibility.

Do you know your glow?

Our glow can feel so subtle that we may disregard it in ourselves.
It might be easier to see the light in others than in ourselves, in the same way that it is easier to see light from the Sun rather than the Sun itself. Each new breath, each new heartbeat, each new moment of our life gives evidence of something constant and reliable within us. I call it “the glow.”
colorful heart illustrationLike adding new logs to a fire, we nourish our glow with our attention to it. Turning inward feeling for the source of our radiance, we feel it grow, expand, warm, and settle our turbulent emotions and thoughts. Fanning the flames of this glowing source of life, we radiate from within.

Radiate!

We don’t have to push the light outward from a fire, or the Sun. Light naturally radiates. The larger the fire, the larger the glow. The fuel of our Fire is our attention. No matter how tiny a spark may be, it can always grow.

It is always good to be reminded to look inside for the peace and harmony that is as you call it our inner glow. Trying times in this world at present can overshadow this simple act.
    Thanks you for the reminder.
