Stress relief – a lifestyle approach to inner peace
Habits of health
Stress is the basis for many ailments ranging from headaches to cardiac disease.
I imagine that you’ve heard the buzz about these stress related conditions and many more. If you are like me, you might be wondering how to support your health naturally, how to relieve stress naturally, and how to ensure on-going wellness.
Inner peace and stress relief
Since stress causes disease, it dawned on me that inner peace might cause health.
Making inner peace a lifestyle goal has proven to support my mind-body-spirit health and happiness. By working with myself and students over the years, a relatively simple set of practices has emerged into a cohesive routine that supports inner peace and stress relief. My remedy for stress relief is a 28-day self-study program: Inward Journey.
Caring for myself has been my biggest challenge. Although I appreciate the support I have gotten from friends, family, and practitioners, I know the small (and sometimes large) choices that I make each day play the biggest role in my mind-body-spirit health. In order to make the best choices for myself, I have learned that I need to be self-aware and self-responsive. This is also true for clients and students who wish to leverage the benefits they receive from our time together.
Inward Journey is a process of learning a daily practice that supports self-awareness and inner peace.
From a calm, clear mind comes better choices and responses, that nourish and invigorate the mind-body-spirit. This short, daily practice goes a long way toward better health and vitality.
I know the challenge of making time for oneself. I know the challenge of not knowing what practices to do in order to cultivate inner peace. Many people wonder how to have a practice that they can actually do within the confines of their busy lives. Inward Journey is my answer to these challenges.
Why Inward Journey?
The intention of Inward Journey is to have a daily practice that widens your connection with yourself so that you can calm your mind, body, and emotions in order to make wiser choices for yourself. Yes, this is a program that facilitates stress relief. However, my larger goal is to support your ability to go inward, into the temple of your mind-body-spirit. It is my experience that when a person is well connected within, they find their unique way toward happiness. As you move toward real happiness, you move away from stress and illness, and toward peace and vitality.
Inward Journey is an easy to follow course. Each day, you will receive an email with instructions and/or guidance for your day. At the beginning, I will walk you through four simple practices that make up the core of your Inward Journey. 28 days of guidance yields a wonderful practice of self-care that you can continue to benefit from.
